We cannot wait to bring Disney’s THE LION KING to the Palace Theatre Manchester and are working very hard behind-the-scenes to get everything ready for our cast, crew and audiences when the time is right.
As further government guidelines and information have been announced over recent weeks, we have reviewed this in-line with our planning and have made the difficult decision to postpone the opening of THE LION KING in Manchester by 9 weeks to ensure the wellbeing of all involved.
Performances in Manchester will now take place from Thursday 6 May – Sunday 26 June 2021. All guests who hold tickets for performances will be contacted directly by email about their booking from Wednesday 20 January.
As this season will now be several weeks shorter than planned, some guests will have been allocated a new performance date or have had their seats changed in order to accommodate their booking. If your booking has been moved into seats priced differently to your original booking, this may result in a small refund which will be processed automatically. If any of the changes are not suitable for you, we will endeavour to transfer you to an alternative performance/different seats where possible, or offer a full refund. Details of how to request changes will be sent to guests once their new performance date has been allocated. To help us work through all requests as efficiently as possible, please don't contact us until after you’ve received your new confirmation email.
We sincerely thank everyone for their ongoing support and understanding. We look forward to joining together to hear the buzz of the auditorium as we take our seats, listen to the orchestra strike the first notes and watch the curtain rise.
